Live Interactive (Webcast)

Q: What is a live webcast auction?
A: It is a real-time live auction software, auction houses broadcast over the internet and online bidders participate in live auctions as if they were physically present at the auction.
Q: What will the internet bidder see online?

A: The internet bidders will see a catalog, images, description and a bidding area.

Q: Will the live and internet bidders be able to bid at the same time?

A: Yes, the software manages absentee (proxy bidding), live internet bidding (webcast) & live bidding at the sale location at the same time.

Q: Can the live webcast bidder hear the auctioneer at the auction?

A: Yes, the auctioneer is broadcasting live on the internet in real-time.

Q: Can I place a proxy bid if I am unable to attend the live auction?
A: Yes, the bidder may register on our live interactive (Webcast) site and place a proxy bid. The auctioneer will contact the online proxy bidder if they win an item by email or by telephone.
Q: How will the online bidders be able to bid with the live auction?

A: At the live auction there is a clerk that sits next to the auctioneer and will be clerking the auction on the internet.  This clerk will bid for the live bidder as well as receive the online bidding as the auction is in progress.

Q: How does the auctioneer know if the online bidder is bidding?

A: The clerk will verbally let the auctioneer know who is bidding at all times.  It is also up to the auctioneer to take a look at the computer screen and verify who the highest bidder is before closing the bidding process on each lot.

Q: How does a bidder know he's won a lot?

A: The auctioneer will announce the live and or online buyer’s number in closing each lot.  At all times the online bidder can hear the entire auction process.  The online buyer will receive a winning bidder notification upon completion of the auction.

Live Auctions

Q: How do I pay for my winning purchases?

A: Settlement must be tendered in the form of cash, cashier's checks (will be verified), wire transfer, all major credits, or check (with bank letter). No exceptions will be made and all bank letters will be verified.

Q: Why do I have to pay sales tax?

A: Sales tax is governed by the state the auction is held and must be collected at the auction unless tax exempt. (Texas Sales and Use Tax Exemption Certification)

Q: How Do I Receive My Title for Vehicles, Trucks, Buses & Trailers?

A: You will need to contact a Lemons Auctioneers, LLP and Online Pros employee by phone or email. The information that we will need will be your full name, current address, and phone number. Your title will be filled out with the information given. Your title will be mailed out by FEDEX, UPS or Certified Mail. You may choose which method works best for you. You may also pick up your title at our office at any time during our normal business hours.

Q: How Do I Register for a Live Auction?

A: All live bidders are required to report to the bidder's office at each sale to receive their bidder's card. No bids will be taken from unregistered bidders. Each individual must show valid photo identification to receive a bidder’s card to bid (i.e. driver’s license, passport, etc). All first time buyers must give a refundable deposit to bid by cash, major credit card, or a bank letter of guarantee with a statement of limits. The deposit amount will be determined per auction under the “Terms and Conditions.”

Q: How do I become Tax Exempt?

A: You must fill out a tax form. Please fill out with the correct information required, sign and email to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it or fax at 281-357-4974.

Q: Do I receive a discount for paying cash?

A: We do not give a discount for cash transactions since we do not charge our buyers for the credit card transactions.

Q: Are there any hidden cost or credit card fees?

A: Lemons Auctioneers and Online Pros do not charge the buyer any hidden fees or credit card transaction fees. The only fees that are charged by our firm are a buyer’s premium and a title preparation fee for all vehicles.

Q: How do I pay by wire transfer or direct deposit?

A: Lemons Auctioneers LLP and Online Pros conduct their banking with WoodForest National Bank. You may go to any WoodForest location and directly deposit your payment into our account or conduct a wire transfer from your account to ours. You will need to call us once this transaction has been made into our account. We will need the amount of the transaction, user id, and auction won information. Your paid receipt will be sent to you manually once the transaction has been verified by an auction representative.

Q: What is a Buyer’s Premium?

A: A Buyers' Premium is a tool Auctioneers use to help defray the cost of an auction. As a buyer, set your "top price" on an item and stop bidding when your bid plus premium reaches your top price. For example, if a 10% buyers' premium is being charged and your top price is $50.00, stop bidding at $45.00. If $45.00 is the top bid, you will be charged a premium of $4.50 or a total of $49.50 and will have saved .50 cents!

Online Auctions

Q: Who Has the Titles In their Possession during the online process?
A: Lemons Auctioneers, LLP and Online Pros are in the possession of the vehicle titles during the auction. If Lemons Auctioneers inventories the auction items on location we gain possession of the titles at that time. If the seller supplies the general auction information to Lemons Auctioneers, LLP the titles are sent to Lemons Auctioneers within a timely manner before the online auction has expired.
Q: If I Have a Problem Concerning My Items Won-What Do I Do?
A: DO NOT LEAVE THE PREMISES. Communicate with a seller representative on location immediately, if you have a discrepancy concerning your item won. The seller representative will contact Lemons Auctioneers LLP and Online Pros and a resolution will be made. If you leave the location with your items without stating your discrepancy, neither the seller nor Lemons Auctioneers and Online Pros will have proof of the problem. *The Sellers and Lemons Auctioneers, LLP and Online Pros are very strict concerning this issue-No Exceptions.*
Q: How do I become Tax Exempt?

Q: Why do I have to Pay Sales Tax?
A: As a Licensed Auction Firm we are conducting a service for our sellers. This places us within the category of charging sales tax. Lemons Auctioneers, LLP and Online Pros charges a sales tax of 8.25% due to conducting business in Tomball, Texas & in Harris County.
Q: My online payment was declined
A: The Lemons Auctioneers LLP and Online Pros security feature for credit card authorization is elevated online, due to high fraudulent activity risks. If your credit card's address, ZIP code, or CVV2 is not accurate, the transaction will not be approved by our eprocessing network. You may call a Lemons Auctioneers LLP and Online Pros representative to give the updated or corrected information. Once the corrected information is given, the payment can be approved manually through our office.
Q: I bid on items previously and haven't paid yet. Can I bid again?
A: The answer to this question is "No!" You must pay for the items you already won before you are able to bid on other auctions. There are no exceptions to this rule.

Q: How Can I Pay For My Winning Bids?

A: Lemons Auctioneers and Online Pros are responsible for all payments received per auction. You may pay online through your Bidder Login or call to pay Lemons Auctioneers and Online Pros over the phone. To pay online please go to your Bidder Login and go to View Purchases located on the left of your screen. Once you are within the View Purchases menu please scroll down to the Recent Purchases area and click on Pay by Credit Card. Follow the fields given and pay for your purchase with a credit card. Once the item is paid in full an “email generated paid receipt” will come to your email address registered within the online auction system. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Wire Transfer, Direct Deposit, Money Order, Cashier’s Check, or Cash. Q: How many days do I have to pay for my auction items won?
A: You must pay for your items won within two consecutive days after the completion of the auction. Example: If you won an item Friday afternoon the payment is due Sunday afternoon.
Q: I cannot find any record of my winning bid.
A: All auctions are invoiced the day the auction closes by 6:00PM (CST). If you have won auction items and cannot find record of your winning bids, you will be able to pay for all of the items you have won after the auction has been invoiced. You may go to your View Purchases area to pay by credit card or call an auction representative during our normal business hours to pay for your items won. If you haven't received an invoice by 6:00 pm, please call!
Q: How does the dynamic closing feature work?
A: The ending time for each item is Dynamic and will reset to 5 minutes if a bid is placed within the last 5 minutes of the item closing time. This will continue until there are no bids on that item for 5 minutes.
Q: How can I track items without bidding?
A: You can watch items without bidding by checking the "Check to Watch Item Without Bidding" box, entering your Username and Password and clicking "Place My Bid or Track My Item" button. You will be able to see this item in your Tracked Items list in the Members Area.
Q: Can I change my user ID?

A: Our online system does not allow users to change their user ID. The only way that this action can be done is manually by an auction representative. You are not allowed to conduct this action if you have any outstanding balances or active bids. All past auction history will be removed from the current user ID once the bidder ID has changed.

Q: Can I Bid on Multiple Auctions with My $100.00 deposit?

A: Yes, you may bid on multiple items and may bid on multiple auctions with your $100.00 refundable deposit in the system.

Q: What Do I Do If I Can't Get In Contact With a Seller Representative?

A: Please Contact Lemons Auctioneers, LLP and Online Pros at 800-243-1113 or 281- 357-4977. We will require you to leave us your full name and telephone number. We will attempt to contact the seller representative in a timely manner.

Q: Where can I find out more about an auction item?
A: If you need more detailed information concerning an item we always suggest preview first. If you are unable to attend preview you may call the seller representative listed under the View Event Details for more detailed information and questions. The seller will not be liable for giving false information due to the lack of knowledge and expertise in any given field.
Q: How do I find general information for an auction?

A: We work hard to get all of the information needed for each auction so that the buyer can be well informed before purchase. You may find this information on the Home Page under the Auction Calendar. Under each individual seller’s listing you will see View Event Details. Please click on the View Event Details link to receive the detailed auction information concerning location, preview, removal, or general information.

Q: Can I Inspect and preview the items before I register to bid?
A: All bidders are able to inspect the items online and may physically attend the allotted preview dates and times scheduled for each seller. Lemons Auctioneers, LLP and Online Pros recommend that all buyers attend preview if possible.

Q: If my deposit is refunded will I have to re-register in your system?
A: You will not have to re-register to bid with us in the future. This information is now held within our secured system for your convenience.
Q: May I Use My Deposit Towards Purchase?
A: You May Use Your deposit towards purchase upon request “Only.” This may either be done by mail, email or by phone. If the amount is lower than the $100.00 deposit we will refund the remainder back to the buyer. If the amount is higher than the deposit amount then the bidder must pay the remainder of the bid total. Once the bidder has used their deposit towards purchase they will have to reactivate their account with another $100.00 deposit within our online system.
Q: How do I get my $100.00 deposit refunded?
A: All $100.00 deposits are fully refundable upon request “only” either by mail, email or by phone. Deposit refunds are returned back to the buyer during our normal business hours M-F/ (8:00AM-5:00PM).
Q: Why do I have to give a $100.00 refundable deposit to bid?
A: We consider this deposit a security deposit for all of our active bidders. This deposit is used to waiver possible fraudulent bidding activity.
Q: How do I receive a password and/or change password?
A: Once you have registered online within the Bidder Registration area the system will send you an automated password by email. You may use this information to give your $100.00 refundable deposit to bid. This may be done by phone or online. You may change your password after activation within the Update Contact Information area under Password.
Q: How Do I Register To Bid on an Online Auction?

A: Please go to the online auction “Home” page and click on Bidder Registration it is located on the top left hand side of the “Home Page.” You may also go to Bidder Registration within any page by going to the top menu. Bidder Registration is located on the second row under Auction Categories. Once you click on Bidder Registration please fill out all fields required.

Q: Do you only sell locally?
A: Lemons Auctioneers LLP and Online Pros is a National Firm. Not only do we sell all over the State of Texas, but also sell out of State. Please always pay attention to the View Event Details information per seller to receive the location details.
Q: How can I see a listing of the items?
A: You may go to the Auction Categories menu to see all items listed or you may go to the seller’s listing under the “Auction Calendar” and click on View Listings.
