Tracking Online Auction Items Tutorial

Please go to the home page of the online system. Locate the auctions that are listed under the Auction Calendar. Auction Items can be found through the View Listings function located under each sellers listing or through the Auction Categories menu. The View Listings function only displays auction items listed per seller. The Auction Categories function displays multiple sellers’ listings under each specified category.

Example: The featured items will be listed at the top of this page. All items will be listed in numerical order after the featured listing.

Click on the category of interest.

The buyer may preview multiple seller’s listings under each category. This is a sample of the Appliances Category. Please note Northside I.S.D. items are listed above Spring Branch I.S.D. The items are listed per completion times per seller.

1. Tracking an item through the "Quick Bid" option

Q: What is tracking an item?

A: You can track or watch any item without bidding by checking the Track Item Without Bidding box provided. You will be able to see these items in your Tracked Items list in the Bidder Login.

Scroll down to the bottom of the auction listings quick bid page and enter your Bidder ID and Password. Please click on Place My Bid or Track My Items

This screen will appear confirming the items that you have chosen to track or watch.

These items may be referenced within the Bidder Login screen, under Track Items.

2. Tracking and Item through the item details page.

Within the View Listings format please click on the basic description of the item. This is located to the right of the lot number and preview photo.

The auction item details screen will appear. The bidder must scroll down to the bottom of the page where it says “Bid.” Please check the box that states Check to Watch Item without Bidding. Once this step is completed enter your Bidder ID and Password and click on >Place My Bid or Track My Items.

The bidder will be sent to this screen for confirmation. This information may also be viewed through the Bidders Login.
