At this point as a bidder you should have your user id and password in hand, your $100.00 refundable deposit in the system, and you have already used or tested the Tracking Auction Items function. Now it is time to “win” those auction items.

HOW TO ENTER YOUR BID: Use no currency symbols, no commas - only numbers and decimal points. Example: 2500 for 2,500.00

There are two general methods of bidding within our online auction system. Bidding by minimum bid or Bidding by maximum/proxy bid. Both functions will work within the quick bid screen or within the auction details screen per auction item.

Q: How do I bid by minimum bid?

A: Bidding by minimum bid means to bid by the minimum increment dollar amount required for the next bid. Example: The Current bid is $96.00, the bid increment is $5.00, and the minimum for next bid is $101.00. The bidder will place the minimum amount of $101.00 into the Your Maximum Bid box.

The bidder must type in the Bidder ID and Password. Once this is done please click on Place My Bid or Track My Item.

Q: How Do I Bid By Maximum/Proxy Bid?

A: Enter the most you are willing to pay here. The auction system will place the lowest bid necessary for you now, and then will bid on your behalf if someone else bids against you, up to the point of the bid placed here.

Example: Bidding against another bidder who had a maximum/proxy bid within the system.
